Fundraising for £6.5m Black Heritage Centre in Brixton kicks off with major charity concert at O2 Brixton Academy
A drive to raise funds to create the UK’s first national home to Black cultural heritage and history is to kick off in earnest on March 29th with a major concert at Brixton Academy.
Black Cultural Archives needs to raise £2.3m for the dream to become a reality. To help BCA meets its target, a community fundraising event is being held on March 29 at the 02 Brixton Academy, featuring comedienne Gina Yashere, Yolanda Brown (MOBO award winner), Ashley Walters – (Actor/Rapper), Kele Le Roc, Omar, Paulette Tajah & Janet Kay (reggae artists), Richard Blackwood (MTV), Crazy Cousins feat. Kyla and more.
